  • 2 tablespoons fresh-squeezed orange juice

  • 1/3 cup orange honey ginger simple syrup

    • 1¼ cups sugar

    • 3/4 cups honey

    • 3 ounces fresh ginger, peeled and chopped

    • 1 quart water

    • Simmer for 15-30 minutes, then cool, strain and refrigerate

  • 12 ounces club soda

Directions:

  • Combine orange juice, simple syrup and club soda in a cocktail shaker

  • Add a few ice cubes

  • Strain into a festive glass

  • 1 cup frozen mango, thawed, or mango puree

  • 1 cup plain whole-milk yogurt

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1-2 tablespoons honey

  • Pinch of cardamom

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender.

  • Add ice as desired for consistency

  • Puree until smooth

Notes:

  • Calories, consistency and flavor will depend type of mango, yogurt and milk and quantity of sweetener. Non-fat yogurt and skim milk reduce calories but I only use whole milk products. Go with your preference.

  • Muddle cucumbers in the bottom of a cocktail shaker

  • Add simple syrup, mango puree or nectar, lime juice and ginger beer

  • Pour into a rocks glass over ice

Notes:

  • Calories can be reduced using puree instead of nectar or eliminating simple syrup. Also add 1/2 - 2 parts club soda (drink is sweet) to move this drink into the top 50%.

  • 1 liter of club soda

Directions:
